Music Lessons

Michelle has taught and performed in the Oakville and surrounding area for more than 30 years and has experience teaching all ages and levels of flute and theory.

 

She has a YouTube channel to help theory students and started a Podcast "Hidden Gems in the History of Music".  Michelle's music degree is in both Performance and Music History.

Michelle's students have won Gold Medals for RCM exams, completed in festivals at the Provincial level,  won school music awards and some have gone on to music at the Post Secondary level including Masters and PhD degrees in music.

Hana has taught piano, theory and worked as an accompanist for over 30 years. Her students have received prizes kin the National finals of the Canadian Music competition, Silver Medals with the Royal Conservatory of Music and First Class Honours with distinction in RCM exams. Many of Hana's students have reached the RCM level and decided to pursue a degree in Music

​Hana received her training in the former Czechoslovakia and came to Oakville in 1996. She is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA).

Hana has a commitment to her students to inspire lifelong learning in them. Over her 30 years of teaching she has been part of hundreds of families lives and keeps in touch with them. Hana believes that the positive nurturing environment she provides for her students gives them the foundation to become accomplished learners.

Bethany started with the Suzuki method at age 4 and came from a musical family.   She has a B.M. and M.M. in Violin Performance, and a B.A. in Music Education as well as completing Suzuki teacher training (all 10) .  

 

 She played with the Québec Symphony for two years, and was Concert Master of the Sudbury Symphony for three years. 

 

 Bethany has been teaching violin for 26 years with some of her students have winning the Gold Award for RCM, some going into the Taylor Academy as well as music study in university.

 

Addy has been playing the violin since she was three at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Since then, Addy has been a part of numerous chamber ensembles, orchestras, and competitions across Canada and America. Addy currently plays with the Oakville Symphony Orchestra.

One of Addy’s most recent and notable performances was playing alongside the New Orford String Quartet, which took place in January 2024.

​

Addy has completed book 10 Suzuki teacher training, and strongly believes that every child can learn in a supportive and nurturing environment. Addy teaches a wide range of students from children to adults and offers both Suzuki method and RCM certification.
